Looking Across Great Ocean Road to Anglesea Surf Beach
Anglesea is located between Torquay and Aires Inlet on the Great Ocean Road. Just beyond Anglsea the Great Ocean Road begins skirting the sea .The Anglesea Golf course is world famous for it large mob of kangaroos that graze on thefairways. Anglese has a population of around 2500 people and has large areas of native plants and flowers in National Parks close to the town. The shopping centre is small but adequate and fuel is available. The main swiming beach is patroled by Anglesea Surf life Saving Club.
