Apollo Bay is
located on the Great Ocean Road between Kennett River and Lavers Hill.
It has excellent shops and services including an airstrip and is home
to approximately 1600 people. It has a sweeping beach of approximately
4 kilometres, excellent surf and views along the coast and of the Otway
Ranges. The walk up Marriners Lookout to see the dawn is a must. It is
an excellent place to stay to explore the Great Ocean Road, Otway
National Park and to visit numerous waterfalls in the vicinity. It is
approximately 90 kilometres to the Twelve Apostles from Apollo Bay.
