View from a lookout at Bay of Islands Peterborough
Peterborough is located on the Great Ocean Road between Port Campbell and Warnambool. The Curdies River Estuary is located close to the  town and occassionally flows into the Ocean. It is a small town of approximately 200 people, with limited ammenities. It provides an excellent starting point to exploring the Bay of Islands,Bay of Matyrs and Boat Harbour features of the Great Ocean Road. A lot of locals consider that these features are some of the best on the Great Ocean Road.
